Role and Responsibilities
A Junior Designer is responsible for collaborating with internal teams in completing various project tasks and deliverables.
Responsibilities include team collaboration, project deliverables from start to finish, design concept, working drawing, and project administration.
Position Requirements
o Graduate of a recognized school of Interior Design / Architecture / Architectural Technology.
o Basic understanding of the process of design.
o Basic understanding of project organization - recognition of ‘Big Picture.’
o Basic knowledge of construction details.
o Understanding of selecting and specifying lighting, furnishings, plumbing, appliances, hardware, floor/window coverings, materials and finishes.
o Knowledge of quotes, proposals, budgets, purchase orderings and purchasing process.
o Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
o Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and is eager to learn and grow.
o Proficiency with technical software: Established CAD, REVIT, and Photoshop skills (including rendering skills using REVIT and Photoshop), enhanced hand drawing skills and computer software skills (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
